AJ started her career working in an insurance adjusting firm and simultaneously started buying real estate rental properties. She quickly realized the earning potential in buying and selling real estate for herself and others and in 1977 she became a licensed REALTOR.
During the next 30 years AJ has been a top performing real estate agent working with hundreds of buyers and sellers. She has developed subdivisions, built homes for speculation, provided design services for new homes and managed projects for builders and investors.
AJ's personal real estate portfolio has included owning apartment complexes, motels, duplexes, homes and land developments.
She has held many positions of leadership including: Chief Executive Officer of the Utah County Association of Realtors, Women's Council of REALTORS State President, Women's Council of REALTORS State Governor, President of the Center for Professional Career Development at Utah Valley College plus chairperson and member of many real estate committees.
She also created many businesses including a real estate company, real estate school, a property management company, a relocation department and the Utah County Home Expo; all are still in operation today. In her spare time she assists high school students to set their own personal values and mission statements.
